Jagdish Sweets began in 1930 with one kadhai, one halwai and one rule that has never been broken: only pure desi ghee. That shop still stands on Devi Ahilya Marg, Jail Road, Indore — and the sweets still taste the way grandparents remember them.

The second generation added the namkeen counter: Ratlami sev, Indori mixture and the crisp evening snacks this city cannot live without. The third generation packs the same food for Indian families settled abroad, because taste is the fastest way home.
